Hotel VPX Asia is right in front of Sarapampa Beach, at km 108.5 on the South Pan-American Highway. Many guests ask us what the beach is like, how to get there, and what else is nearby, so we’ve put together a quick guide.
How to get to Sarapampa from Lima
By car, take the South Pan-American Highway to Asia, then turn off toward Sarapampa: the drive takes between 1.5 and 2 hours, depending on traffic. In summer, it’s best to leave early on weekends. If you’re taking a bus toward Cañete, get off in Asia and take a taxi to the beach.
When to visit
Beach season runs from December to April. January and February are the busiest months; outside the season, you’ll find more peace and quiet and better rates.
Things to do
